My Purple Nails meets Purple Oven
For the past week, my nails have been sporting a new color. PURPLE!

No, I'm not attending neither Barney nor Grimace's birthday party. It just came to a point wherein I wanted to deviate from my usual baby pink nail color which I've been sporting every so often for the past decade. CHANGE is good, after all.
I've been so happy showing off my deep purple nails most especially as it has a good smooth and shiny finish. Good job Nail Tropics! ♥

A few days ago, my college best friend L celebrated her birthday and Paul and I dropped by our favorite bakeshop to buy her a box of Chocolate Revel Bars before heading to our dinner venue. I first heard about Purple Oven more than 5 years ago when I began obsessing over Starbucks Coffee's Banoffee Pie. A friend pointed this place out to me and I've been a regular customer ever since. It's also a plus that it's located so close to where I work making it so convenient anytime I have to drop by to buy a cake or to just have a box of their delicious freshly-baked cookies or bars.

My favorites include the Chocolate Lava Cakes (Php. 420), Chocolate Macadamia cookies (Php. 240), Chocolate Revel Bars, Lemon Bars, and of course the Banoffee Pie (Php. 650). Paul and I love the smell of these freshly-baked goodies which you surely won't miss as you enter their small store in Pasig.

In my last visit, I noticed that they have more items available such as the Little Carrot Cakes and a wide-array for Savory Rolls and Turnovers too! Sadly we were rushing that evening but I'll surely be back to check those out and to buy some to try.

The place is hidden but I'm glad that they now have a wooden signage in front and a dedicated door that leads to the store. I frequent the Pasig branch but Makati and South folks can visit their 2nd brand in San Antonio Village in Makati.
Check out Purple Oven's latest menu:

Visit Purple Oven at 63 Saint Peter street, Oranbo, Pasig City. From Shaw Boulevard heading to C5, turn left as you see BDO to your left. Turn left again on the first corner when you see Dahlia Motel. Parking is allowed along the street.
