Initially, I thought Lotteria originated in South Korea but researching about it told me that this brand actually opened first in Japan by a South Korean and later on found its way back to its motherland in 1979. At present, it has expanded to China, Indonesia and Vietnam. How I wish they'd soon find their way to Manila as well.
Lotteria is similar to our local Jollibee where it caters to a mass market and offers a wide range of on-the-go food items. They have a lot of value meals too! During our short one week stay in South Korea, Paul and I found ourselves eating at Lotteria about three times either for an afternoon snack or a midnight chow.
What I loved the most was the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. It was delicious! I loved it so much that I had this two more times before we flew back home to Manila. I love how creamy and cheezy it was without being too rich. The breading had just the right thickness too. This just got to be one of the best Mozzarella Cheese Sticks that I've ever tasted so far.
Lotteria also has fried chicken available, Vegetable Rice Bulgogi Burgers and Squid Burgers too. Give me two more weeks in South Korea, I would probably have tried more items on the menu. Lotteria is ♥.

I hope they open a branch here in the PH soon. A nice breather away from the usual mcdo and jollibee :)
