Staycation Files: Back at F1 Hotel Manila, Taguig City

There's really something about staycations that I love so much. Some would tell me that they don't see the point of staying that night at a hotel especially when you have a home in the same metro. Yes, that's true but sometimes it's just good and healthy to take a break from your regular routine to unwind and simply do..nothing.

So, a week after our return to Manila, Paul and I joined our blogger friends for a fun weekend staycation at F1 Hotel Manila. We're no strangers to this hotel as we had the privilege to stay here 2 years ago. This time, we're back with our friends from the KTG and after our LuzViMinda lunch, we all headed up to our respective rooms to rest up until dinner time.

Checking in was a breeze as we were directed to the Premier Lounge. It's located also at the same level as the hotel's check-in lobby only you get a dedicated staff to assist you and while waiting you can even help yourself to some of the snacks and drinks available.

Within minutes, we were handed our keys and up to the 16th floor we went. Paul and I were so lucky to be given the Fort Suite (Php. 14,000) once again. I just love how spacious this room is and for the price, it can comfortably fit a family of four. Something we will definitely consider once our twins grow up. ♥ The room has three main areas -- the living room with a 3 seater couch, the dining area and mini bar and finally, the bed room.

This is the perfect room for families or for groups of friends who would like to stay in and perhaps enjoy a meal or order room service while enjoying the hotel's facilities. Admittedly, the kitchen area is pretty simple with the basic items such as a water kettle, sachets of coffee and tea and two bottled water. What I love about F1 though is the housekeeping service. I quickly consumed our bottled water and I had to ask for more to which the housekeeping staff happily delivered a couple more for our consumption throughout our stay.

Moving on to our room, it's cute that they have added a Star Wars and Frozen themed pillows there. I guess this is perfect for those checking in with their kids. Our friends J and E even had their room set-up complete with a made up bed for their two boys. It's really all in these tiny details that makes one stay extra special.

Adjacent to the bedroom is the toilet. It's not very spacious but it's clean and complete with all the required toiletries. The best thing is they have a bidet installed which, as you all know, is a must for me and my OC family!

We really had a great time as F1 Hotel Manila is conveniently located at the heart of Bonifacio Global City. Since it has been so long that we've been to this part of town, we made the most of our free time to roam around Bonifacio High Street while trying to discover what's new at BGC from the time we relocated to the Lion City four years ago. It's the perfect hotel if you're flying in for business or you're a local resident who just wants some time off with the family but still want to stay within town.
