Beauty Stop: Piandre

I hardly can remember my first haircut experience but I sure know where it was done. My mom has been a loyal customer of Piandre Greenhills since we were small. She entrusted us to her favorite stylist Nenette to create a manageable, kid-friendly hairstyle in every visit. One visit we had a bob cut while on a another we were given bangs, what I remember though was the experience. How I enjoyed having my hair shampooed as I love the scent of their shampoo and conditioner, down to the very personal service that Nenette would give us. She never treated us like clueless kids instead she always try to get our opinions on how we want our next hairstyle to be. Nenette to us was like a fairy godmother. At some point she even had successfully and magically fixed our jagged, super short bangs as an effect of our pretend salon games. Over the years, we continued to trust Piandre . It was in their Timog branch where I would frequent during my high school years. I had my favorite make up arti...

Enjoying Italiannis!

Last week was spent meeting up with old friends, first there was that delicious Chinese dinner at Eat Well with my high school seatmate N and this time I met up with another high school buddy who actually graduated from the school across my school . Knowing how much I love to dine out, A told me to decide on our dinner venue for that night. A long list suddenly came to mind but after going through my thick yet handy-dandy Enjoy booklet , I chose from the ones with branches in Greenhills and finally settled on Italianni's . I actually love doing this as I like reading each item slowly before making my choice. A arrived right after I did and we decided to make use of my Enjoy coupon that gives us a Buy one, Get one free main dish treat ! On the table It wasn't that difficult to make our choice as A and I p...

Great and Honest Service goes a long way!

Allow me to share with you an inspiring story about rendering an honest service to restaurant patrons. Last night, Paul and I took some time out to have dinner at the newly renovated Everything at Steak in P. Guevarra, San Juan. It was our usual mid-week date where we unwind and just spend more quality time together. Over a plate of buffalo wings, a 1/3 pound burger for him and a hearty rib eye steak for me, we talked about our day and finalized our schedule for the holiday season. At some point, I handed him an envelope that has a small amount of cash from our business and his camera's memory card. We were both engrossed with our conversation that after paying the bill, we immediately stood up and left. Little did we noticed that Paul accidentally left both the envelope and the memory card on the table and he only remembered about it two hours after. We went back to the restaurant but unfortunately, it was already closed. We went home with heavy hearts and while he was worried ab...
