Sound the Octo-Alert! The #AngTwins' FUNtastic Four Birthday Party (Octonauts themed)

Image
This is a very delayed blog post as my twins celebrated their 4th birthday last October which means, we have 6 more months to go before I put on my DIY Mommy cap and plan for their 5th..OMG..FIFTH (!!!) Birthday Party.  I can still remember the day they were born and I can't believe that they've grown so much since then! If you ask me, 4 years old is the best age so far as they're at this stage wherein they can converse with you properly, they can understand what you're telling them and the world around them, they have better memory which means it's time to start filling their memory banks with trips, family bonding sessions and more. Furthermore, they're learning so much and so fast that I am still at awe that my twins can now do basic math, they know the 8 planets and can read basic words too. There are times though that I wish I can just press the PAUSE button to be able to savor more time with them.  Anyway, let me tell you about their 4th birthday party. I...

G! with the Barkada : Greenwich Pizza Making Camp

Image
I recently discovered how much I enjoyed planning the birthday parties of my twins. Whether we have decided to make the party big or small, I love thinking of fun and creative ways to celebrate their special day. I have an entire year to plan for their 3rd birthday but I'm starting to list down some ideas already. Time flies like a speeding bullet and before you know it, my adorable twosome will turn another year older *sniffle* . Can they stay my babies for a little while longer? Anyway, the day after their birthday, we were invited by Greenwich Pizza to join their Pizza Making Camp  together with fellow foodie friends. It was only recently that we have re-discovered Greenwich pizza and we just love the Hawaiian Overload pizza . Yep, we are that kind of people who loves pineapples on our pizza.  I was so game to learn how to make my own Greenwich pizza and I had my little L who was ready to help me too. All participants of the Pizza Making Camp  gets their o...

Summer Party Vibe with Greenwich Hawaiian Overload Pizza

Image
Recently, I was invited to a birthday party. Not mine but that of two ladies who are very known on TV. In fact, Yaya D subtly gasped when she found out where I was heading to that one afternoon in SM Megamall. It was to celebrate the birthdays of Yassi Pressman and Bela Padilla , two very prominent personalities on local TV today. Yaya D adores Bela Padilla who stars in her favorite TV series Ang Probinsyano . Trust me, ask her one thing and she can go on and on and on about that show. Haha! This party was hosted by Greenwich Pizza and just like any birthday party, we were in for a yummy treat! While waiting for the celebrants, we feasted on a buffet of party dishes such as tea sandwiches, nachos with dips...

Friday Favorites : Seven Comfort Cuisine

Image
I know my birthday isn't for another 25 days but as you know, I celebrate it wayyyyy in advance and even for weeks after. So, during my recent visit to Manila, I decided to celebrate my birthday with both my side and Paul's side since we won't be home on the actual day.We stayed for a very short time only so I had a joint celebration with my dear niece, Julia . :) I just love my in-laws and I'm so glad that we were all complete that night. We didn't had a lot of time to prepare not even to go out and to buy food so thankfully, I met the cool guys behind Seven Comfort Cuisine  who took care of our dinner line-up. All I had to do was to email them to inform how many we will be and to share some of our diet restrictions too. They are so quick to respond and they willingly suggested the dishes based on our specifications. So, that night, we had: Savory Chicken Mushroom Pasta  (Php. 600 / Php. 1,000), Caramelized Peppered Pork  (Php. 750 / Php. 1,250) and Cheezy Sa...

Let's Party! 8 Spoons Party Trays

Image
Paul's birthday is coming up in 2 days! :) It has been our tradition that our birthday celebration doesn't last for just a day. Instead, it goes on and on for WEEKS! We normally get to celebrate our birthdays with our two families (his and mine), our various groups of friends and of course, with one another. Paul's birthday celebration started today as we had a simple yet fun lunch get-together with his family. What made it fun were the 3 tiny tots who happily ran around the house as they played with one another for hours! It was cuteness overload as we tried to decipher their baby talks and watch with amazement as these kids, at their very young age, can easily navigate their way around an iPad! Since there were 13 of us today, we tried 8 Spoons' Party Trays which were said to be good for 8 but believe me, the serving was very generous that almost everyone got second servings and there were still a lot of food left for dinner today (and maybe even for lunch tomo...

Frannywanny turns 30!

Image
Today I celebrated another milestone in my life. I finally turned 30 and He surely has blessed me with a wonderful life. With a heart filled with optimism, I am looking forward to another decade filled with love, happiness and more successes in all aspects of life. Looking at my archive, I realized that you, my dear readers, have been there every time I blow another candle out from my cake. When I turned 27 ....as I wished and celebrated my 28th birthday ...and lastly, when I waltzed into my 29th year .  Today, I greet the big 3-0 with open arms and I'm so happy that you're all still there. Thank you dear readers! This year has been pretty amazing. To celebrate this I threw a simple lunch party for my families and closest friends at H Cuisine in Quezon City. The highlight of my lunch debut was the presence of a special guest who flew in all the way from Davao that morning! Meet Porky! *oink*

Hello Buffalo at Sunrise Buckets in Madison Square, Ortigas

Image
I love buffalo wings! It's funny that while I do not like spicy food, this is one dish that I can't pass up on when given the opportunity. I also love coating my spicy chicken wings with bleu cheese and munching on it until the bones are sparkling clean! Through the years, I've had the privilege to try a number of buffalo wings and while some have failed to meet our expectations , others were quite fantastic that it gets me craving for more every so often . I was able to first taste and experience Sunrise Buckets at my nephew's birthday party two years ago. I loved it that they gave us plastic gloves to use so as not to get our hands all dirty and oily while enjoying their chicken wings. Even my dear Kongkong (grandfather) enjoyed his own bucket of wings that he wouldn't even want to share with my auntie (teehee) ! It was pretty good, not too spicy and the wings had just the right amount of meat too. Fast forward to last Saturday, I woke up right before ...

Balloon Me!

"Oh, how time flies!" I have heard my mom say this in numerous occasions whenever she would hear news that her friend's child is getting married or is having a baby. This would be followed with a short update on our (mine and my sister's) lives and a brief travel back when we were still kids. This is me on my 3rd birthday with my cousin Ken I guess, this is what Elton John meant when he sang " The Circle of Life. " How we go from infancy to childhood then to our teenage years and later on to adulthood. It was just ten years ago when my school planner was filled up with debut parties that we have to attend almost every weekend. This was combined with college entrance exams and of course our Senior Grad Ball. Fast forward, ten years after we're now attending each others weddings and lately, Paul and I have been getting more and more invites to kiddie birthday parties hosted by our high school and college friends. The table is going around now. No ...
