As the saying goes: "Two heads are better than one."  This rings true in the foodie world and it's always a fun thing when two kitchen masters get together and make one yummy creation after the other. So here's a secret for you all. Our well-loved Wolf Burger  partnered with Bird Bird  and we're all in for a treat at their special pop-up restaurant in Ann Siang Road  till the end of 2016. Now, isn't that a great way to end this year?  While I truly hope that their partnership will go on till next year, Paul and I are not taking any chances and we quickly made our way down there one weeknight to check it out. I first tried Wolf Burger  at Pasarbella Suntec City   and I have been reminding myself to make a return trip with Paul soon. While walking around Raffles City a couple of months ago, Paul and I chanced upon this cute purple shop that sells... MILKSHAKES ! Now, if you're like us whose childhood includes eating loads of ice cream and drowning ourselves in those thick creamy milkshakes, then you can probably imagine how excited we both were as we got closer and closer to the store. "Welcome to Once Upon a Milkshake !" The server greeted us! What a catchy name. I love it! Looking at the menu, we would chuckle every so often as one of us would point out a flavor which was given a funny name. Imagine ordering Sir Cookies & Cream or Baa Baa Naa! Humor aside, it was really a challenge to just choose one as more than one flavor brought back a lot of nice childhood memories and it just sounded so yummy! Finally we went for the Spooky Mocha in a Regular (S$4.90) cup as it was almost dinner time.

It was an exciting lunch as I was back at my favorite American diner ... Mr. Jones ! Just a month ago, I first tried Mr. Jones with the Yummy team and now I'm back for a food tasting in preparation for an exciting event for work! Thanks to Raintree Restaurant's super accommodating and friendly Marketing Manager, Belle ; I found myself enjoying a wide array of Mr Jones' specialties earlier was these will be served to our special guests in a couple of weeks. Here's what we had for lunch... We've tried The Threeesome during our first visit to Mr. Jones, I love the Egg Salad with Truffle Oil and Black Caviar! Each bite is h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y. The other two are the Prawn Coleslaw and the Macaroni Salad. Must enjoy these yummy salad together with their delicious butter toast. This is also posted over at Patay Gutom . Times have really changed. Imagine back then, cereals were just part of breakfast together with a good serving of cold milk and a teaspoon of sugar. Back then, the only choices that we have were corn flakes, chocolate pops, rice krispies and fruit loops. Today we have whole grain cereals, honey or sugar coated flakes and a lot more! I was amused and excited as I chance upon Cerealicious in Greenhills and actually in most commercial areas near high schools and universities. With names that sound like a movie title, they have at least 27 combinations that combines our well-loved cereals with fruits, nuts, chocolates and their homemade milkshake. We tried the Jumango after going with the recommendation of the server. This is a combination of Cornflakes, Mango and Honey Crumble. I also ask for a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make it extra yummy. The smallest bowl is only for P50 which I think is worth it. I watched at the server carefully piled...
