F All Day Dining at F1 Hotel Manila

After checking in at F1 Hotel Manila for a quick overnight staycation, Paul and I, together with my MIL and FIL headed down to the 3rd level for lunch! I love that the restaurant is named F All Day Dining as you all know that F is my favorite letter! :)

It's the hotel's main restaurant that offers all-day buffet from breakfast to dinner. They also have a little spread during afternoon tea! How cool is that? Anyway, the theme during the time that we went was Chinese New Year so the buffet has predominantly Asian/Chinese dishes to celebrate the occasion. Our lunch also fell on a Friday which means all meatless dishes for me. Normally, this is the only day in the week where I'd avoid eating out much less going for a buffet. Well, I trust that F will have a good variety to still make my lunch satisfying.

Let's go through the different stations and dishes that caught my eye:

Of seafood, sushi rolls and sashimis!

Bread connection with yummy hummus

Grilling and Mongolian Station

Creamy Prawn Salad

I'm so glad that F All Day Dining still has a good mix of seafood and veggie dishes for me to enjoy. I particularly liked the Yee Sheng Salad which I added a lot of salmon sashimi too. Really, after all the lo heis that Paul and I had in Singapore, I can never get tired of the delicious prosperity salad!

The next morning, Paul and I headed back to F for our breakfast. They had a good selection of bread, cereals, pancakes and waffles and of course, hot Filipino dishes that we love love love! We went down a bit too late though so the only thing photogenic that I've managed to capture was...

A special shout-out to my bacon-loving friends (I'm looking at you, D R & S), the photo above is for you. you and you!

Despite not having the photos to share, I particularly liked the sausages (as always and they're made with pork..real pork!), creamy scrambled egg and garlic rice that we missed so much! One discovery was the homemade cuchinta which was also very delicious.

What I liked most is to see the General Manager, the Executive Chefs and other top hotel officers dining at F and the chef himself overseeing the daily buffet spread while keeping a close watch on the food safety and hygiene. That's really a big deal as they would interact with the guests and get comments and feedback for further improvement.
